Victim Assistance

The Willoughby Police Department Victim Assistance Program consists of three part-time advocates: Director Kathy Fellows, Advocates Meggan Maniche and Judi Widgren. The advocates may be called upon to provide immediate crisis intervention to victims, to explain the court process and other court proceedings to victims and witnesses, which include completing victim of crime compensation forms and accompanying them to court proceedings, and to extend direct assistance via referral to appropriate community agencies.

In partnership with its sister organization Eastlake Victim Assistance, the program hosts a Women's Support Group on Monday evenings from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Childcare is provided during the meeting.

Office hours vary; however, an advocate may be reached at (440) 953-4258 which is a 24-hour message service and calls will be returned in a timely fashion. You may also reach an advocate via email. In case of emergency please dial 911.
